Marks & Spencers is HERE!

Slightly late news but still relavant. Marks & Spencers in La Cañada is now open you will be glad to hear. With products that seem familiar it is a home away from home and Im sure even though slightly pricier, you will all enjoy it´s arrival as M&S quality can easily out do many other products.

With a great selection of products just in time for Christmas I am sure the shop will be a hit with those who know it and those who are first timers.

Marks and Spencers - The Latest News

Reports are in that the NEW Marks and Spencers in La Cañada Marbella will be opening in November 2009, which is earlier than previous reports expected. There were rumours that the store would be one of the infamous Marks and Spencers food halls but this is not only the case and the food section will be miniture in comparison. The store will be stocking fashion, homeware and food. As with many shops the demand for items will determine what is stocked in the store.

Marks and Spencers, to many who know the store (normally British), know of the quality of their products. On a fashion note, for those women you who buy lingerie from Marks and Spencers especially those with a more natural figure the store is a welcome relief. In addition to this men who are of a larger stature too will benefit from a much better choice of clothes.

The consumer will definitely determine the future of this store and depending on popularity we could see more branches popping up along the costa.

Dunnes Stores Marbella

In a further development and for all those who enjoy the clothes line that Dunnes Stores provide, you will all be glad to know that the old Imperial locale in La Cañada is due to be a new Dunnes Stores.
The success of Dunnes Stores in other locations up and down the Costa del Sol has prompted for a new store to be opening in Marbella. Other locations like La Viñuela and closer to home Fuengirola have continued to provide an invaluable supply of reasonably priced quality clothing and other products.
The new Dunnes Store will be opening their doors later this year making Dunnes clothing closer and saving many of us a drive down to Fuengirola to find great deals in clothes that fit........... Fantastic News!

Marks & Spencers

As I am sure many of you are already aware M&S, the high street giant from the UK, are planning to open a store later this year. The local for this shop has yet to be announced however odds are that is will be located in one of the corners of the newer section of La Cañada Shopping Centre, Marbella.

With a huge array of all goods M&S are renowned in the Uk for their excellent range of clothing, household items, and of course excellent food halls. Whether their will be a food all has again yet to be announced.

Recently they were advertising for staff but they seemed to have a strange vetting system in place whereby you needed to do a type of aptitude test online and depending on what they thought of your results you would get an interview.......... which is odd but true.

Anyway, that aside I am sure like many of the Costa del Sol we are all looking forward to a slightly bigger selection of quality goods in la Cañada, without the Gib journey.
